I earned all this grey hair so I will take any senior discount I can get. Did you know seniors can get their drinks free at Taco Bell? You just have to ask. I also ask for them without ice, otherwise you don't get much! :-D

First thing I ask is "What is your senior discount"?
Ditter43 is correct Taco Bell has free drinks. I do the same get no ice then you get a cup full, soft drinks are cold already. Tea needs ice.
Enjoy the discounts.

I agree with getting the discounts. I feel that I have earned it along with all this grey hair.

A while back I was with my daughter and ordered the senior discount. She looked surprised and said, "You can get the senior?" I said, "Darn right, and I'll take it!"

Not here. Seniors pay 75 cents for a drink.

Since I don't think of myself as a senior yet (at 56), I usually forget to ask for any discounts. Actually I am still too young at some places!

My older brother, who travels a lot with his job, loves his discounts. When I turned 50, he told me the best part about being 50 was that you qualified as a senior citizen at KFC!

I am a senior and proud of it--glad to be still here. At Safeway they have to ask although they know by looking at me. Sadly we don't have a Taco Bell here.

I was just about a week shy of my 50th when I went to a fast food place with my 10 yo daughter. When we sat down I said "I don't think she charged me enough." Looked at the receipt and saw she charged me a quarter for a "senior drink". My daughter laughed and laughed and told everybody about it for weeks. That's when I started coloring my hair and I haven't got a discount since!

Something similar happened to me (years ago). I went to quite a nice little tea shop during my lunch hour and when I took my bill to the checkout, I noticed that they made a mistake and didn't charge enough. I figured I'd point it out to the clerk 'cause God always gets me if I lie or cheat and I didn't want to get sick at work from the lunch I ate! She said that it was no mistake - it was Senior Citizens Discount Day!

I was only 45 and highly insulted and insisted they charge me the regular price! Now I'm fully eligible for the discount and always ask for it!
