I hear a lot of my friends say they don't use their servers cause they are so hard to thread. That's why I purchased a Babylock that has the air threading system. I love it. So much easier to thread!

'Ya know, after reading all these glowing posts about lovin' their sergers, I think I'm really not lovin' mine because the dang threading of that monster....it has color coded paths, but it's still not user friendly....not this non- user anyway! .I may look into the auto thread ones......it sits now with one needle removed and two threads unpathed! Long story..won't go into it! May put it in my garage sale next month!

I purchased the Babylock Ovation and it's the best, wide harp, does the wave stitch, cover stitch and I can sew on binding with it. I also have made many quilts using it. I didn't think I needed a serger but now that I have it I have made so many things with it. I took some classes which were free when I bought it and one thing the instructor told us was to go home and practice so we'd remember. That was very good advice.
