Sewing Scissors
#11
For 8" shears, Ginghers are weighted well - well balanced in the hand. Never owned
a pair but that's because my Wiss from 1970 are still going strong.
Gotta say I love my 5" and 6.5" smaller Fiskars. They cut right to the tip and
have never needed to sharpen them.

I use Fiskars and hide them from my DH he takes my scissors outside to open bags, get stuff I honestly was close to killing him this summer lol So he knows now my sewing box and my quilting area is off limits for scissor grabs. I like everyone else have a pair for fabric and another pair for paper and love these, I got them for 1/2 price at our local fabric shop this summer think I spent $10 for the set of 3.

Too funny, but I do the same thing. The good scissors are hidden.

I have many pairs of scissors, one of my favorites in my Gingher's, sometime you can get a good deal on Ebay on them. Much better than even Joanne's with the coupon. I have all kinds of scissors, even have my original Swiss scissors that I got in the 50's. Have small and large ones. If you watch Ebay you can get the 8" for around $20 something. They are heavy scissors but they will last forever.
