To shake the blues, I made these

So no quilting here today, just messing around today with my embrodiery machine. I think I got the January blues setting in. So I got busy and made this luggage wrap and ID luggage tag for me. Thinking this might be a great birthday gift or Christmas idea. My dh wasn't impressed. ha. I like it. What do you think?

Gee, I wish I made them red, or yellow! something that will scream "hello" as we have those same black suitcases too! this was my trial and error and I like the material. I will enjoy them for sure! My dh will find them useful next we travel no doubt!

    great idea!
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Very practical and easy to spot your luggage as it goes around.

I like them, who cares what hubby thinks. They don't have to like every thing you make, I think it's a missing chromosome or something. LOL.

What a lovely idea. I also just saw a video on how to make the tags, but had not seen the luggage wrap. Does it go on with velcro? Very cool

If hubby isn't impressed and you wished you had made some brighter, I'll help you both!! LOL mail them to me!! I love them. Actually they do not have to be bright, just different from everyone else!!

(Maybe he would have been more impressed if you had made it with duct tape? Lol!) Nice work IMHO

I love the luggage handle wrap. I bought a bright blue suitcase and used it for the first time over Christmas. I was amazed at how many different shades of blue suitcases there were and, with mine being new, I was not used to spotting it. The handle wrap would sure make that easier. I have another trip planned the end of the month and need to get busy making some of these.

My children reacted in horror when I spray-painted lime green circles onto our gold colored luggage. Why was I ruining that luggage. Let me tell you, when my luggage went around on the carousel, everyone let me know it had arrived! Lesson learned!

they are fun to make and just think how personalized the luggage tags and wraps could be. Who wouldn't love them for a gift? I know I would.
