This new gun has a safety trigger. It won't accidentally discharge in my purse. My finger has to be on the trigger to get it to fire.

When I was a teenager, driving back and forth to school. I kept a logging chain right where I could reach as I got out of the car. Every time I got pulled over the sheriff would ask for my chain and take it away.....LOL
And I would have to stop at the hardware store and get a new one......

I am alone a great deal of the time & my DH really wants me to get a license to carry. I am afraid of guns though. If the house was broken into I would probably panic. He has had his license since they first came out with it. I know I probably should get one. Good luck with your new piece!

I think it's awesome that you take the responsability of your own protection.

I have taught personal protection classes for NRA for women. I have a KY state police revolver in my home and carry a 38 in my Jeep with me.
I travel alone a lot and am prepared to use it if need be. I think things would be better for us if someone knew that if they attacked us, they would be shot, just sayin'
Like they always told us: I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
