I come in, sit down on the sofa and take off my shoes, so that's where they stay until I end up with so many pairs there that I have to tote 'em up to my closet and start over again.

lol in the garage! I have lived here since April 28th. I went to a concert the other day and had to put shoes on. It was the second time since I moved here. I only wear sandles when I leave the house, and when I am outside/inside I am barefoot.

Where do your's end up ??
Only by the door, no one wears shoes thru my house, besides 11 month old grand daughter wouldn't know where to find them if they weren't by the door, she loves carrying them around and is just starting to try to walk in some of them.

I come & take them off in the hallway. when it starts to look like a Japanese household, I pick them & put them away.

(not trying to be offensive with the description, just trying to draw a mental image)

Me, too! Only I would add under the kitchen table as #3 and move the others out a number.

My dog steals them. Unfortunately, he steals them one at a time, and drops them all over the house. Eventually I'll find them - but they are never together.
