There was a recent thread about this yesterday. Called something like retail shoes. Look back a couple pages and I think you will find it. I like Naot's, but they are pricey.

New Balance are very comfy, and I like Asics for running. Don't get sucked into CROCS.

I'm carrying some "extra" pounds and have a bad knee from an accident. I love my crocs. Be sure to get the "Crocs" brand. I can walk and it cushions my walk if that makes sense.

Shoes made for nurses are usually great. I try to get them when I can. They also last a long time.

I never wore them when I was working,( I don't think they were around then) But I LOVE my crocs...With the back problems I have they seem to be the best thing I ever wore. I know they aren't the most attractive shoes going, but I prefer comfort to style these days!! :D

Maybe purchase a set of arch supports if your shoes are lacking them? I worked on cement floors for almost 30 years and they made a big difference
Also buy shoes with a good spongy, soft cushion.
Replace shoes often, every 2-3 months as they do wear out whether they look like it or not.
I also wore Leggs sheer energy pantyhose everyday, and they helped my legs feel better and prevented varicose veins too. Regular pantyhose don't have the same support, and they are cheaper than what is sold at the pharmacy :D:D:D
