Ok I wasn't going to but I see other families are like mine.
I am the eldest of 10. But the second family I have only seen once when I was very young. The first family of 6 is scattered around the county which is a good thing. I have 2 brothers one just turned 50 and is the only sibling I have contact with.3 sisters I have 3 children 40-35-29. Two girls and a boy. I live with the middle girl the others are in TX and OR. Thank goodness. Have contact with all but we get along so much better if they are on the other side of the country. I have 6 grandchildren and the only one is see all the time is 16 and in college. My family is a mess and I do wish we were closer but by the age 57 I have learned that is a pipe dream in my family. My biological father I never knew, my stepdad died a few years back, my mother died at age 47 from cancer. Stepmother pretty much cut off contact when my dad died. But on the bright side I have my furry kids and grandkids and foster kids. I cannot imagine my life without them they bring me so much love and joy. OH divorced twice and happily single now.

I have a small family, I am 56, my DH is 59, and 2 boys ages 21 &16, and 3 Golden Retrievers. My Mom died 27 years ago at 56, father left Mom just before I was born and moved to the US, minimal contact, he died 2 years ago. My only sibling, my older sister died of cancer 4 years ago, so I have her 2 children who are like my own, ages 35 & 28. Her daughter is married with my little Grandson. (I promised my sister I would hold her grandchildren for her- and I am doing that at every chance I get.
My DH has a twin sister and 2 older brothers, added up they had 11 children and so far 9 of the next generation.

I am the oldest of 3 under 3, I'm 41, my brother is 39 (40 in July), and another brother 38. My middle brother lives in Vennia Austria and we have no contact, my youngest brother lives in Vancouver,BC and we talk as much as we can.
My parents are still living and my dad is 76 and my mom is 73, she has terminal bone marrow cancer and has been fighting it for 11 years. They live in SK and I live in ON.

I have 2 boys 14 and 11. Both have Asperger's Syndrome.

Thier other grandparents passed away in 1997 and 2007. They have an uncle in Chicago, who doesn't have contact with them by his own choice.

My mom is the oldest of 12 and my dad the oldest of 6. So I have a huge extended family scattered all over the world.

I have 1 brother who is 57, 1 sister who will be 62 this year and she is the cranky one! lol

My biological mother died when she was 47 from breast cancer. My adopted Mum, (who I consider my Mum) will be 87 next month. My biological father died 24 years ago and my step father passed in 1983.

I have three kids, my oldest son will be 30 this year, my youngest son is 26 and my daughter just turned 24 in April of this year. I have 3 beautiful granddaughters, aged 7 and 4 years, and the youngest is 18 months.

And any day now my stepson and his wife will be welcoming their first into the world...a baby boy! :)
