sure hope we don't get snow in the K.C. area soon! We've had so much rain that last weekend had flooding throughout the county and one death( from driving into flooded road). although we did have froze and ice on the deck this morning.

Iowa had a touch of falling snow last week...thankfully it melted when it hit the ground. I hate winter because I feel trapped living out in the country.

I normally would "boo" at the cold and wet snow, but now that hubby made me my sewing cave, and he likes to snowmobile, that is my happy time......same with a gf of mine. So now we women pray for snow so we can go down and play all day!

Wow, the weather man promises the "cold front" is coming. But Pensacola feels like a sauna out there. 86 with high humidity. Send it our way. Please.

We had some light snow in the Denver area Saturday night. I had removed all the weather stripping around our double front doors. So we scrambled to get that in. Finished about 4 hours before snow. But the cold! We set a record low Sunday night. 18 degrees. We seldom get weather that cold, and if we do, it's in January or February.

I am dreading the snow this year. We are already having cougar problems because all of the fires this year drove them this way, and killed most of their food sources. We had one fella go out to his truck for work and find a cougar in the bed. Thank God he was paying attention. It will only get worse over the cold weather....
