Years ago I had a papillon named Pepe. I took Pepe to training classes to learn to socialise with other dogs , this he did except for one dog an enormose wolf hound. If one of them was late for class, the instructor had to stop the class until they had said hello. The wolfhound lay down while Pepe walked all round and were so excited to see each other. At playtime the same happened. My Pepe was smaller than the wolfhounds head. Opposites attract.

We have two furry babies of our own and we foster a third. All our neighbors have dogs, my brother and my son both have dogs that visit, etc. We know first hand what an accomplishment it is when a new furry one is brought into the mix and there is finally success. You introduced them well....allowed them to get to know each other slowly rather than throwing them into the mix, and it shows with your success.

What a nice sigh of relief knowing they get along since they live so close to each other yay you!
