soap for leg cramps

That is strange. How does the soap prevent the cramps.
I was getting terrible leg cramps. Especially after exercising. I went to the doctor and the test results showed I was dehydrated. I guess muscles can cramp up when they are dehydrated. So I have been drinking more plain water and the cramps have gone away.

Can hardly wait to read any further comments on the reasons this seems to work! :?

As a nurse I just can't figure this out, unless there's a lot of potassium in Ivory soap that gets absorbed topically through the skin! I once had a doctor tell me that 1 banana has the equivilent of 40 meqs of potassium which is what most people on diuretics take daily as a supplement. Yes, you must be properly hydrated before going to bed; magnesium can act as a muscle relaxant (which is why it's used to stop contractions in early labor)and usually it's a potassium deficiency that causes the cramping. Potatoes also are pretty high in potassium as is orange juice.
