Default Spell check and auto- correct

I am fine with - i even appreciate - the little red line that appears under questionable spellings.

I am not so fond of auto- correct. It has taught me to proofread things before hitting " send.."

I try to double check but every once and I while, an auto correct slips through. I just hope that some day I don’t offend someone.😂

A priest, a minister and a rabbit walk into a bar. The bartender takes drink orders from the priest and the minister. He turns to the rabbit who says, "Don't mind me. I am only here because of autocorrect.

Default It's crazy!

I find it funny that my phone can “learn” some words and make suggestions but even though I text a friend about sewing quite a bit, it still changes “sew” to “see”....

I don't use auto-correct, just spell check. That doesn't always make sense either.

After a Windows update, my email started suggesting what I wanted to type. Drove me round the bend because it was so distracting. Then Windows wanted my feed back on their nifty new 'help'. I sent a blistering, just short of obscene, reply and figured out how to disable their 'help'. I turned off auto-correct on my phone too, but yes, once and a while one will slip thru.

Me too! Drives me batty. Don't they have the word "sew" in their dictionary? Another thing is my Kindle. I can't backspace to correct a word. It puts a space in the wor d if I try to do it (just like the word wo r d). Lol. Worse auto correct I've ever used.

I have them both on my phone turned on and deal with the all to frequent word changes. This is one reason I use my computer more often and never the phone here.
