I'm here.
Power was out, then cable went out. Then I had to go out. Had an MRI for my shoulder today. That thing sure is noisy! Didn't like it at all! But, the doc that was there was cute. lol

Star is standing there doing nothing....sigh......

Happy Anniversary Kay & Rusty!!
Hope your tooth feels better today Kay....

The heat is wiping me out - just wanted to do a quick check-in to see what was happening.

Good night all.

Congrats on your new status BTW - do I have to curtsy now, when I speak to you? LOL - just kidding, it's well-deserved - I mean it.

I tore the muscles in it years ago. It never healed right and have been going thru on and off pain ever since (about 15 years). So, I start complaining and FINALLY I get a doc that says "we need to check that"...so, we are! I have an appt with Orthopedics end of July. That's the earliest they could get me in. We have a shortage of docs at the Naval Hospital here.

Oh, my new status? Shocked me!
And no, you don't have to curtsy, just send fabric! lol

This may be off the wall but do you know reflexology? I had a whiplash injury from a car smash and hed neck pain for YEARS - had physio, acupuncture, special pillows etc. In the end I was told I just had to 'live' with it. If I drove for more than an hour it was agony - I had to constant roll my head around when driving - other drivers must have thought I was nuts! I had a brief, impromptu session of reflexology with a friend of my Mum's over a year ago and since then it's absolutely fine - I can drive, garden, sit at the sewing machine, computer etc no pain at all! The weird thing is, the woman didn't even know I had neck issues, she offered to do it because I had a dodgy knee from waxing all the floors upstairs. She starts in on my foot then says 'you've got chronic neck pain on the right hand side' spooky! I was so sceptical til she said that. Now I can only say, what ever she did to my foot, it cured my neck! The problem was that one of the cervical vertebrae was knocked out of alignment by the crash but the pain was muscular, from everything around it trying to compensate. I haven't had an X ray since I had the reflexology but it would be interesting to see how the vertabrae looks now - the private specialist I saw said it was permanent! :D

I've heard of it, but haven't gone to one of those people.
I have to deal with the military docs.
Funny thing is...I've been complaining for years and all the stateside docs would send me to physical therapy. I complain here and I FINALLY get an MRI to see what's going on.
