Still Snowing in Jersey
#22
DH got our cars and driveway cleared yesterday afternoon, said he didn't need my help and I didn't argue with him. Snow was mushy in parts and clogged the snowblower up but we're able to get to our cars. Nice next door neighbor did our sidewalk with his super blower. We have to have our walks cleared within 24 hours of a snow storm so kids can walk to school although they usually walk in the road or are driven to school by parents.
DH used to work shift work so me our young sons usually got the snow removal job because he was at work - we only had small shovels none of today's snowblowers, etc. Of course, I was so much younger then and could handle it. Anyway, we'll be off to do some errands and shopping later this afternoon.
Everyone keep warm, May in Jersey

So glad we can get into our garage from the house and it's our way out, not that we're going anywhere. May in frozen Jersey
I have been talking to my kids in Jersey and you sure are having a winter like we did as kids.........
I am glad to be in Florida but let me tell you one thing........it's cold here also.....getting into the 30's some nights.......and all I can say is "brrrrrrr"
Our guests left here on Thursday on the auto-train and had to get a motel room in Virginia upon arrival there on Friday.......roads to Jersey were so bad.....so I guess that I shouldn't complain about the Florida chill.
See you at your guild show in May...Talked to others in our group and we all are looking forward to going. Also talked to a cousin in Newtown, Pa and she and her friends are going to try and make your show also.
