We got a white Christmas in Lexington KY. Started Christmas Eve and has been snowing on and off ( mostly off) since) Have about 3 to 4 inches which is a lot for around here . We have lived here for 14 years and this is the first white Christmas I remember. Came from Denver, CO so had a lot of snow. I kind of miss it. So nice to have it for Christmas.

Started to snow around 9 pm Christmas day and it's still snowing at 10:00 am Sunday. Very unusual for Virginia Beach!

Snow--we got lucky as it missed us. Well mostly, got about 1/2" of light fluffy stuff. Just South and East of us they had sleet. DS got off work at Midnight on Thursday night and said he went to the car on glare ice. Had to scrape to get the ice from the windshield. Ran out of ice about 5 miles from us. By the way he lives across the street from us. So we get all the road reports etc. first hand.
