I'm glad you all have checked in as I was reading in the news about your weather out there and wishing all is well with fellow QBees. Prime the pumps, lay out the candles, just in case, and keep on sewing!

Wish you could send some our way. This dry early fall time of year just sets off my allergies big time until it starts to rain and wash it all away. Guess we will never ALL be happy with the weather at the same time

Another Oregonian that spent all weekend in my sewing room. Perfect weather for staying inside. Fact is we had such a dry spring and summer glad to see it raining, although might have been better to have the rain spread out a little more. The Eugene/Springfield area had six inches of rain in 36 hours, broke all records for September.

Yep, just north of you in Battle Ground is the same! Pretty fog this morning but gloomy drips now! Will sit under a king size with flannel back and work on the top-stitching!

Here is La Pine, Or. it's perfect! I love the rain the change of the season. And I am eagerly awaiting Old Man Winter's visit.
I didn't get much done over the weekend, but I did find the floor of my sewing room!! I do need to get busy though, all my patterns came in for making rag dolls. And I am making a mess of finger puppets for Bella and Curtis. Sayra is getting a couple of rag dolls and a baby doll quilt. Raiden is getting some girly dresses (not set in stone). And Koressa is getting some funky baggy overalls. I haven't decided what to make Darrien yet. He will be 12 this year and loves video games.
Time has come to bring out the crock pot gets some root veggies and a nice piece of beef for some soup. Oh and add a little bit of barley too. SOUP MAKING season is upon us.
