Default teacher ideas for bag

I made a very handy bag for my DIL in school colors as she is a teacher. It has pockets on the outside and inside and is approx. 18 x 15. Any ideas of what to put in it for teacher supplies?

Pens, pencils. Pencil sharpener . Ruler. Sellotape. Rubber. Tissues. Sweets. Chocolate for those late evenings. A mug designed for her with her name. Whistle. Pen to write on whiteboard or and computer. Paper clips or similiar, hole punch.
Just a few of the things I needed close to hand.

What grade does she teach? How much are you looking to spend?
Younger grades: pad of reward stickers, new mouse pad... Could have one made with photo, sharpened pencils, highlighters and expo markers.

Its tsp very dependent on the grade level and the availability of supplies in the school. An electric pencil sharpener may just be perfect too!

These are great ideas! Thank you and keep them coming. I need to go visit Staples!

Some drink mixes you add to water bottles; a tube of nice hand cream; a lip balm(schools tend to be dry); a CD of her favorite kind of music(nice to listen to while checking papers; an assortment of colored ink pens; a gift card for a book store or nearby teacher's store. Any of these would make her days a little brighter.

All sound great, except that a computer mouse doesn't need a mouse pad anymore since they are laser.

a stylus that works on touch screens
even tho most computer "mouses" don't need a mouse pad, there are some mouse pads out there that work as calendars and note pads and are handy to have near the computer for the odd note we all take while using the computer.

I have a laser mouse and still use a mouse pad, as it doesn't work well on all surfaces (like my glass desktop).

I love colored sharpies and all kinds of post it notes. This n that has a cute memo pad cover pattern that could match the bag. You could make a tissue holder, too!
