I do but that is how we where raised the tree would go up so it would be up for first sunday of Advent then it would stay up through the epithany (starts Jan 7th and ends on the 23rd of Jan total 15 days) on the saturday before the that last sunday we would have a small dinner with relatives and a few close friends we would always get 3 gifts a small one bigger and 1 large gifts they are called the forgotten presents usually 2 had something to do with church or mass like a new missle or new prayer book or a rosary and then the big gift was something like new bike or game for outside. these represented the three gifts of the Magi we put so much money into them any more a shame to take them down anyway got to Luv it all. LOL :D :-)

skipped the tree thing this year, but the way I see it it is your tree as long as it doesn't become a fire hazard leave it up till next Christmas if you want!

I still have my up. My Christmas Village is half way torn down. Hope to have it all put away this weekend. My village is in my "women cave" (sewing room), and I haven't been able to quilt. Can't wait to get back at it!

Still have mine up, and since it is my weekend to work, this means I will be working 12 days straight, I wont get it down until next weekend.

I didn't even put up a tree this year but lots of people around here (Louisiana) leave their trees up and re-decorate it for Mardi Gras. That would be artificial trees only, not live ones. Those have to go ASAP! Hobby Lobby has aisles and aisles of Mardi Gras decorations.

I finally took all my decorations down today.. took me four hours (with help) to remove the ornament from the trees, get everything off the walls and bookcases, and remove garland from everywhere..

Although, my 2 trees are still up.. that's hubby's job to take apart and stuff back into their seemingly shrinking original box they came in..

So I guess I have to raise my hand, As I DO still have my tree up ! lol..

i got bronchitis right after christmas & just getting better now... missed a full week of work...

everything is off the tree, but dh has to take it apart & carry it upstairs & then up into the attic....

i'm hoping for this weekend, because everything that needs to go up in the attic is stacked in my sewing room....and i can't get past it to my machines!

mine is still up, too - maybe down this weekend - but my son (16) wants me to keep the tree up (lights only - no decorations) until theend of February - I think that's stretching it though
