Containers under your couch and possibly chairs. Clothes hampers, end tables, above your washer & dryer.

Can you sacrifice some of your bench to place your sewing machine on it? That way it's all in the same room. Maybe you could put your bins under the bench??? Good luck. You are very thoughtful to sacrifice your personal space for other family members.

When my kids moved back in with me, I turned the storage shelves around and put them across the middle of the room. I covered (stapled) the back of the shelves with car fabric and stapled (top and bottom) cheap beige fabric to the walls on that section of the room. He was 2 and his bed just fit in the room. I had enough room that I could sit by his bed and read to him. It gave him a small place for toys playing and I still had half the room around the corner for my stuff. I think the fabric ended up being about $15. and he had more than enough room to play. The room is only 10x12 so it was not a big room. My stuff could stay stored on the shelves. It was small but I did not have to move everything out. Hope this helps
