Default Temporarily stored the old to make room for the new

DH surprised me w this Viking T50. I temp stored the treadle machine to make room for the new sewing/embroidery machine. I love my treadle machines (own 4 beauties) but I have to admit, state of the art has its place of honor as well in my book.

The awesome sturdy vintage iron base cabinet has a lift side panel held by a mobile left hand iron base as well.. This perfectly accomodates room and support for the embroidery unit.

Turned out an ideal cabinet for my new addition.

Gasp! Shock! Blasphemous! Lol, I am just kidding! What a creative and beautiful way to use your "old" for the new.

How I wish I still had my great-grandma's treddle sewing machine. I would take your idea and sew with it! Great!
