Is anyone on the board showing anything at the Texas State Fair? It would be great to actually see live and in person, your beautiful work.

Not showing anything at the Fair but I am showing 'Happy Daisies' at the Trinity Valley Quilt Show in Fort Worth, Sept 30 - Oct. 2.

I went to the Texas state fair a few years ago, and was amazed at the butter sculpture. They don't do that up here in the Pacific Northwest. It took me two days to see all of it. Have fun!

There's always a butter sculpture at the NY State Fair every year. This year they honored the school cafeteria workers. Very cool. Amazing what they can make out of butter.

The year I was there, it was a girl taking care of her horse.

I would love to go to the Quilt Show in Fort Worth and might go, but it would be so much more fun to go with someone who quilts.
