so sorry to hear about such a bad accident. i hope you are able to get some therapy...they can be excellent at adaptations so you don't have to re-invent the wheel.

Have you seen a pain dr? Pain can sap the life out of you and until it is controlled, it'll make life more miserable then it has to be.

(((((((((hugs))))))

You'll do just fine, you are a fighter! Just keep doing small steps, and before you know it you'll be reaching all your goals. Best of luck to you. Keep us posted on your recovery, and your accomplishments. In these times it is so good to hear good news like yours. Take care of yourself and don't push too hard.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Hopefully you'll have good news from the neurologist. It's great that you're motivated to try and sew. It's good therapy and it'll raise your spirits. Take care of yourself. I'm keeping you in prayer.

I hope your new doctor has some good news for you. I wonder if there is a support group in your area for people with injuries similar to yours? Your neurologist may know of one. My breast cancer support groups (in both CT & AZ) helped me tremendously. One of the 1st things I learned from them was you can FIRE YOUR DOCTOR! If you're not hearing what you want/need to hear, find another doctor! You'd be surprised to hear how many women have done that, and how empowering it is to hear that it's OKAY!
