I spend a lot of time here too. Time I could be quilting, or exercising. But I have learned so much here, get inspired here and love to share what I'm working on.

My DH and I sit side by side in the evenings- he on his lap top, I on mine. I'm here, or searching or on Facebook, he is on Facebook or searching for things that interest him or searching information about long arms for me.

I really am thankful to each one of you.

It really is an amazing community. Too bad there aren't more like it in real life (not virtual) - the world would be a better place. Can you imagine being surrounded offline with people who are wholly supportive, cheer your every move and encourage you when things are tough? Plus make and share beautiful things every day?

Must be what heaven will look like. :-)

Wonderful place! So much love and generous sharing of ideas and tips.

QuiltingGranny - Hubby and I often sit side by side in our matching rocker recliners in my sew room he on his laptop and I on mine just surfing and learning. I do go back and forth between the computer and the sewing machine though, got so much to do!

I am so glad that I found this quilting community. I feel so at home here also. I believe real friendships are being formed thru this site "virtually" everyday and in reality too!

Here, there is so much to learn, share, exchange, not only about quilting but everyday life experiences come in to play here too! The stuff that real friendships are made of!

When I first started searching for a quilting forum, I was interested in learning more about the sewing, piecing, quilting, etc of making quilts. I had no idea that it would become so much more. An extra bonus....double prizes!

Plus some of us live close enough together to actual meet 'in the flesh' for coffee, tea, LQS visits, etc. Lets set a date in March.
