Bob Hope was truly a National Treasure!
Just last night we saw a funny movie he was in with Lana Turner. He always made me laugh :D
A fine person that touched soooooo many lives!!
Carol, you couldn't have said it better!! :thumbup:

Hey, check it out --- go to youtube.com and do a search for bob Hope....you'll find a lotta clips of his acts. :mrgreen:

I think that might have been from seeing them on tv. Dad was a soldier during WWII and got to see Bob Hope. Dad said it was such a vulgar show that he walked out. He never liked him after that and never wanted to see any performer in person after that. He said that seeing them in person was different that seeing them on tv with all the censorship. He preferred just watching them on tv. He loved Red Skelton.
