Here in central Florida, after a few weeks of nice fall like weather, it's hot and breezy today.I was out earlier and it was 88. I am ready for the cooler temps but I don't want any of that kind of weather.
We were so fortunate this year with no hurricanes after the oil spill. That would have been a bigger nightmare.
I hope you all stay safe and warm and don't lose power. :D

We're under a tornado watch until 9 PM.
The severe thunderstorms are supposed to be coming in very soon...in the next couple of hours or so.

We had high winds and rain yesterday. Today feels weird. Way to warm. Quite windy, but no rain yet. Stay safe.

It is hitting us now. 2 hours ago the TV said there was a funnel cloud 2 miles from us. The sun was shining here, not a drop of rain so far. That's the South for you! Rains on one side of the street and not the other!

WE had a very wind morning and afternoon. Trees down but the power is on and it hass become very calm. They are forecasting more wind for tomorrow but that is okay! WE are all safe here.
