Default For those that use Roku and lost the remote.

Our Roku remote disappeared not to be found anywhere. There is an app that will put the Roku remote on my phone, tablet or computer. Free and works great. I like it better then the regular remote. Of course I found out about it after I ordered a new remote. LOL. https://www.roku.com/mobile-app

I didn't need to lose my remote. Just was too lazy to get up and look for it! Lol. Usually my husband has it. The best thing about it is I can mess with my kids by changing the channel without them knowing!

Thanks for the tip. Mine is always lost as many different family members use it. It will be great to have my own remote.

I have the Roku and am here alone and still have my remote. I do not have any apps, I am not into anything other than my email and quilt digests. What must one do to have it on a computer, do not have the other items. Am always scared to get something and mess up my computer.
Any information will be greatly appreciated on what to do.

I understand your predicament and wish I could help you. I bought a Roku and couldn't figure out how to use it with my Netflix subscription, so I had to take it back. Comcast is so expensive here in TN and I thought I'd save some money. I even offered to pay a tech to come by and set it up and he never showed. Even the store I bought it from wouldn't guide me. Not all of us are "gadget" handy.

You click on the Neflix channel and sign in with your Netflix credentials.

Don't have a smart phone...only a dumb one...so no apps (unless they are appetizers) for me! Will tell my DD about it though as she has both Roku and a smarty pants phone.
