Thoughtful thursday

Janet,I'm wishing your Father a happy, and smooth(peaceful) transition into his new life. And, for you I'm wishing for positive results, my brother has prostate cancer and has been in remission for four years, and counting. Warm and fuzzy hugs to you!

This time of year every year my thoughts are filled with memories of my Mother, a true "Southern Lady". You could ask her how she felt (even in the hospital very ill) and her reply was always, "Able to put both feet on the floor and suck air...I am wonderful." We lost her seven years ago on her birthday, May 4th. I try every day to be more like her...maybe one day!!!

Thoughtful Thursday - I am thankful for everyone in my life. I went to an event today that I didn't really want to go to and found out there's an opening for teaching math at one of the 2 HS's in town I want to work at. So that's definitely on my thoughts. It would be such an amazing job. And I'm thinking about the Quilts for Kids quilts I'm going to do!! Lots of 'em! And very thankful for my family who has donated $ to pay for supplies. And I could just keep going, lol! Life is wonderful
