And my thought is that if you are part of this board, you are not alone! And I'm glad for that.

My thoughts are with our neighbors in LA while the offshore well issues are being resolved. I wish all those trying to fix it Godspeed.

I am glad I found this site so I can see what others are doing, and get more information on quiilting.

I understand what you're saying... my MIL was also a true Southern Lady, born in Alabama and died there 7 years ago. When she was very ill she would answer "Oh, honey, I'm just fine. Now, tell me how you are?" We miss her gentleness, wisdom and laughter.

We lost her seven years ago on her birthday, May 4th. I try every day to be more like her...maybe one day!!!

Thankful for the new friends on this board and for basic, clean water to drink, good food to eat. Amen.

Thinking how lucky I am to be retired with DH and enjoy our life as we do....still relatively healthy and at peace. Life is good.
