Today was horseshoeing day

I load my horses and drive them 100 miles to get shoes done, then have lunch and another 100 home.

I thought some of you might like to see the non quilting part of my life.

Ooohh look at those bare feet! There is no way I would be barefoot around horses of any size! Those horses's feet hurt if you get stepped on with shoes let alone barefoot!!I've been stepped on and it does hurt!!

Such beautiful horses!! Makes me miss our horses.Haven't had any in years now. But we used to have Arabians.

Very interesting Pam. Thanks for sharing. How many horses do you have to have shoed? And that little boy has no shoes on! lol Someone should shoe him .. giggling!

I have 4 draft horses and one old retired quarter horse.

There are 14 kids in that family I have never seen any of them wear shoes if there was not frost on the ground. They are a hardy lot.

Aw, Pam, they are beautiful! I REALLY wouldnt want my foot stepped on by a DRAFT hourse!
