Project for the day, not quilting, but using up all the leftover frozen tomatoes from last year----4 hours later 18 containers of marinara sauce for the upcoming winter. Had to use the old tomatoes to make room for the new ones coming in daily.

Fantastic! Nothing better than marinara sauce made from home grown tomatoes. In fact, there is nothing better than home grown tomatoes, except maybe home grown corn on the cob.

Oh my! I'm so jealous. May I be jealous? This will be the second year in a row that I won't have tomatoes; too cool and no sun-plenty of rain though. I SO love REAL tomatoes...
