I think you'll do fine! Don't think "What if I don't sell any quilts?" Think "What if I sell ALL my quilts?" I hope you do sell all of them. I'll be praying for you and we do want to hear how it goes!

Best of luck and don't even think about the rude people in the world. Don't let them bring even your thoughts down to their level. Just smile and smile and say "you know, you might be right. I will think about trying that next time!" If you agree with them, they have nothing to argue about and it puts them off. And you can think about it for about 1/2 second and then move on!

CJ you're a terrific quilter! Stand tall or sit tall as the case may be lol and be a proud representative of this board!! :)
Next year you will be an old hand at it after selling all of this years quilts and will have lots of eager buyers waiting for you!

I'm terrified for 2 reasons.
1. That the so called quilt police show up. As some of you know I live right smack dab in the middle of quilting country. The quilt police are bound to show up and knowing me it won't be pretty if one of them opens their big mouth.
2. I've never done anything like this before! What if I don't sell any quilts!!
I'm very nervous!!

You will do fine!!! You have worked so very hard for this event, and your efforts will be much appreciated. This organization will benefit from your hard work and determination to get so many done.
As far as the quilt police are concerned just remember: Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind! ;)

I have seen your quilts and they are lovely. If the QP shows up, just respond by saying this is your labor of love and you look forward to seeing their quilts when they donate to the cause. Shame them with kindness. Just remember, everyone has their style and some only have critical styles. SMile, you do great work. Be sure to let us how how your quilts sell and how successful your raffle quilt made.
