I made one out of a cat liter bag - I used my Food saver to seal it - then I sewed the handles on

I read that article and thought how cool and if it can carry 50lbs of dog food groceries wouldn't be a problem. I washed the bag twice then let it soak all night in the tub with a box of baking soda -the smell was still there..Well at least the bag was clean when I emptied the litter box into it.

I've made a few of these, and I get the smell out of the bag by spraying a mixture of bleach and water on the inside of the bag. I turn it inside out, put it over a chair back or fence post (or whatever else is available) and spray the bleach water on it and let it dry in the sun. They make perfect beach bags, and bags for my kids to carry their toys in too!

I'm thinking it would be great to carry our dog training gear in. Kind of appropriate, you know?
