What's that saying: no quilt is complete without a little dog hair. Well in Hero's case, no dog is complete without a little quilting jewelry. Too cute!

You are so right! In my house it could be cat hair as well!
Since Hero often lays at my feet while I am hand sewing, he is often decked out in his quilting jewelry!

By the way Jan, how is your poor finger? Did you get that tetanus shot yet? ;-)

Yes, Nursie, I got my tetanus shot yesterday at work-thanks for asking. Finger is black and blue, hated quilt is rolled up and thrown in the closet for now. What an experience. Glad you thought of the tetanus shot-it had been about 12 yrs since I had one. Aren't we the worst patients?
Let Nursie and I remind everyone: routine Tetanus shots should be given every 10yrs to adults. If you haven't had one, ask at your next office visit. This goes for our fellow nurses too LOL!!

Jan, I am so proud of you! Way to go!
Yes, nurses tend to be the worst when it comes to taking care of themselves. We tend to focus on the patients and their needs and put off the things that we should do.
I am glad your finger is not infected and is on the mend. I can only imagine how it must hurt!
Take care!
