LOL, I have to say I learned something from this - a great way to clean tub mats!

Lisa,

Just be thankful that if they put mints on your pillow, they don't get up and crawl away.

That's keeping it in perspective! Yuck, no crawlies.

Funny thing, I'd expect a mint on the pillow from this place but they don't give them.

Love the pink Hummer - or whatever that is! How come I only ever see them in yellow or black on the road?

I put our tab mat on the towel bar every time we take a shower and it dries faster

As for the shower mat , it may have been stuck there to dry while they were cleaning and they forgot to put it back down. Makes me wonder how often they actually change them in the rooms, or if they ever get replaced
You don't have to tip every time they come in. If you tip once a week that would be enough.and remember they get paid to work there. You are not obligated to tip... especially if they only come in 2x a week. As for the replacement of things I would rather have to much than not enough. And the mat thing that's wrong. If they're coming in your room they need to do what is required... vacuming too. Talk to management and get some one else in there. Tell them your not comfortable with the existing cleaner. If you continue to have a problem You can switch hotels letting your company know of the situation. Let them know your not happy with the service.
My husband had a similar situation with the cleaner cleaning the room while smoking. This was a hilton hotel. My dh couldn't be in the room hours later. They had to move him. Most hotels will accommodate. If it's a reputable hotel you will be taken care of. Good Luck :-(

A pink Hummer for me is a scary thought. I am not a pink person. But since I named myself "Redneck Princess", this color of a Hummer seemed appropriate.
