I either enjoy the peace and quiet or the radio on a CW station. Quilting calms me and music makes me happy. I also get some news and weather.

I have the TV on. I received a Roku for Christmas a year ago so I can put on Netflix, classic radio shows, music, old, old movies/tv. I enjoy listening while I do needlework. Sometimes I put on a favorite movie--I know it so well I don't have to look.

When the TV in the sewing room is on, I will watch a baseball or hockey game if they're on --- easy enough to follow, and I don't have to pay close attention to follow what's going on like I would w/ a movie or drama show.

I'm with all of you on the background noise. One day I was watching a movie (in my sewing room) and got very interested, well when I finished and checking my sewing I had put all my triangles upside down. Gotta stick to just listening.

No TV just the sound of the birds outside. Gods music. I find all the noise that is created by the TV very annoying and distracting. Ann in TN
