Ditter, You are great! DH and I shared a great laugh. . . So this one's for you:
Ethel and her husband, Elmer, went for regular checkups to their doctor. Ethel, now a little hard of hearing, was called back first. The doctor said they needed to update her history and began with this question. "Ethel, do you have intercourse?"
"WHAT?" Ethel responded loudly.
The doctor patiently repeated the question. To which spry little Ethel replied,
"I don't know but I'll ask Elmer," and jumped right up and rushed down the short hall to the waiting area.
"Elmer, do we have intercourse?" Ethel asked in a loud voice.
Elmer rose quickly from his seat and responded firmly. "Ethel, I have told you and told you and TOLD you. . . . We have Blue Cross Blue Shield!"
