And here's a pair of sneakers to go with them. Darn! I threw out a couple of pairs like that after my dog chewed them.

Why not just burn your money if you really have to get rid of it? I'd rather do that than wear those disgusting things.

And now that I've visited those sites with the awful jeans, Neiman Marcus ads with even more dreadful jeans are popping up in my browser.

I think these jeans (like so many other things available in clothing today) make a fashion statement: "I have no taste in clothes!"

I didn't go to the site to see this, but the comments that followed are interesting. This "fad" will truly be a money maker for the mfgrs......the younger gen will glob on to anything different, and this is probably the next one! Now that school in this area is back in session, it is quite an eye opener to see what the students are wearing. But, then, I've seen some teachers who don't look much better...guess I'm a dinosaur.

I am like you!
we didn't have a lot of clothes growing up so why would we pay for torn dirty looking jeans?? I hate seeing kids in torn clothing. Although one benefit to the kids might be that their peers don't know if they are poor or making a fashion statement???
