I lived alone for 8 years. I always bought myself a fabulious gift. Crazy, but I wanted my B-day to be special even if it was just from ME! LOL

for all of us who've spent birthdays alone, whose families have their own lives and are preoccupied poo poo on them. WE/YOU have thousands of friends on the board. our busy families can count on their hands their friends. WE are better than that. WE can make beautiful quilts with our hands, WE can help our friends here with kind words, advice, encouragement, sharing and love and friendship. So be proud YOU are one of us. WE are soooo lucky, YOUR,OUR friends are right behind the enter key. So press it whenever you want. :D

Well said, Jacqui. I figure that if I treat everyone nicely while I am alive that I will be remembered when I am gone. And my sewing and loving will be my legacy.
