For all of those who helped me with my not so techy brain when I needed advice on laptops...I got it. And I love it. I will post pic tomorrow but I just wanted to say thanks to the great people who gave me advice. It is appreciated. :-)

Oh, it is a HP pentium P6100 model number G72 and a 17.3 inch screen. :-)

Good luck with your HP - hope yours is better than mine. Mine's been back to HP for service 5 times. They replaced parts each time, finally replaced the entire board. Keeping my fingers crossed. In the meantime, I had to buy another laptop (need it for work) - went for Toshiba the second time. By the way, I'm using the HP now - so far, so good, seems to be up and running again, but I don't trust it for my work any more.

Mine was a dv9700. It was the top at the store costing around 2,000. The mother board kept going out(3 times). Will never reccomend HP.

mine is P6100, it was made in 2010 so hopefully that will help. I know that I saw some techies say that the P6100 was better than the earlier ones. I hope they are right :-)
