Default Very good series to stream.

I've been watching the series House of Elliot. It's about two sisters who are dressmakers in 1930's era England. It's a wonderful series and each season is 12 episodes long. I get it on Britbox subscription service. It's suitable for family to watch. I love Acorn and Britbox series.

Thanks for the recommendation. We also love Acorn and Britbox. British programs are the best.

Just checked Amazon for the series on DVD and a bit pricey for me but will keep my eyes on them. I like watching series more so than single movies. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you, I'll see if we have Britbox available. Acorn had a couple of really great series, but I haven't watched for a couple of years.

Thank you! I'm all signed up and now I can watch up here on my computer. Already have The House of Eliott on my watchlist. By the producers of Upstairs, Downstaiirs - it has to be good!

I, too have BritBox and Acorn and I’m glad thst House of Elliot is available. I saw it years ago when it was new in PBS and really loved the series. I’ve been looking for something new to watch as I’m almost at the end if Midsomer Murders and Season 22 is just starting to film.

thanks so much

Gosh, that programme is really old now, I think it was made in the 80s. I seem to remember the early series was very good.

Ugh...I'm trying to NOT buy Britbox, but honestly? Most of my Netflix watching is Brit-based anyway...I should just give in and treat the house to it! I love any series about fashion, dressmaking/tailoring, and *good* costume dramas in almost any format! Funny, I don't sew clothing.
