Well, I'm not tall and the only hats I wear are baseball caps, but I'm still beautiful, caring, and strong. Also I am totally at peace with myself and my private life. I honestly wouldn't trade it.

I had the conversation with my DH, what is life like for the Prince and his new wife. Can she get up and just wear sweat pants and have a sew day when ever she feels like it? Or will their life be more of a business, their days their jobs.
I give them credit, but nope, I would not want it.

she was talking about Catherine's new Mother in Law, Camilla. Not hugging the Queen, William's Grandmother.
what a family.
on the hats, i actually finally saw some i did like. on the wedding guests when the camera panned them. one woman had a great hat on but kept bending her head down and i never saw who she was!

Imagine going into a marriage with the idea that your DH's family is far, far more important than your family. No Way. I hope Kate kicks some royal butt, she looks like the type.
And you believe everything you read in the newspapers??????

My step-daughter who resides in England told me "nah, not interested in being a Princess or a Queen. I want to be the PM - much more power".

Well said!

I mis-spoke

Traditionally, Queen Elizabeth spends the holiday at Sandringham House in Norfolk and the rest of the family join her.

For Kate and William, many future Christmases are likely to be spent with the royal family. But not necessarily all. William, who is known to like the non-traditional approach his mother took to royal life, has apparently indicated that he and Kate may not spend every Christmas holiday at Sandringham in the future.
