    Not to mention the little fish, the little toads that are everywhere right now. Last night in the garden I saw some toads that were about as big as a pennyl...thought it was a bug at first. Must have been 30 just around the green beans.

    As some of you know we recently did eat a snapping turtle when my hubby thought I should have a bite of his childhood history. But, we do draw the line here.

    you ate a snapping turtle? Did I miss that thread somehow? How was it - was it fishy or cheap chicken-like?

    Yep, we did eat a Snapper that was threatening to my chickens. It was on a Guess What We Had for Dinner topic. The turtle dinner wasn't anything I would want to have again. Kind of like chicken, but way too chewy!

    OK then! No turtle dinners for us! But I sure love seeing the hummers, blue jays and cardinals. Anyone want to go hunting in the pond? heehee!
