We got a call earlier this evening and the power is back on at the shelter! We have to take him back tomorrow at 10am. ! We took him with our 14 yo pom today to PetSmart and got him a little toy to take with him. He is really a wonderful dog and will make someone a super pet! We really want to get into fostering and hopefully someday have a rescue for German Shepherds and senior dogs. This was our first go at it and yes, it is sad that he has to go back to the shelter but we can't keep all of them!

I really meant it. How can I get him? I would adopt him for sure! I have a cat, Peach, who is 5 yrs old and was raised by 2 dogs that we rescued years ago. Peach and I would love him to be a part of our family!

He's a looker for sure. Such a big heart. Hugs go out to your pets for sharing their people with this little doggy in need.

No way would he go back! I think he's a keeper, for sure! We have 4 dogs-a Yorkie, a Maltese, a Chihuahua and a Pomeranian-Yorkie mix (we call her a Porkie), as well as 3 cats. I really think your doggies and kitties need another brother!

OH!!! He is so beautiful. I'm a sucker, we have got two dogs given to us, both Yorkies. One was about 8 weeks old wandering in a parking lot and the other one was 1 & 1/2 years old. The older one is also a Yorkie. She was too much trouble for Her owner. I guess two dogs aren't bad but we had two before that, lol...We also have a Schnauzer we have raised from a pup and a little Yorkie which is my baby we have raised fro a pup. Now we have four adorable dogs. We love them all. If I lived close I would have one more, lol...He is a handsome mad.

Zurdo went back to the shelter today He will make someone a wonderful pet; I just know someone will adopt him. He isn't at a high kill shelter so I'm not concerned. He will get adopted and soon!

We never lost power but the shelter is literally 1 minute down the road from us and they didn't have any! I will let everyone know when he gets his furever home! I just wish it could be mine!!!

Great news! Zurdo has been adopted!!! A very nice lady lost her 17 yo Pom last year and felt that she was ready to open her heart and home to another one. Zurdo will be joining a 10 yo cat. I am soooo glad that he has gotten his furever home so quickly!!!

Me, too! I'm doing a happy dance! As sweet as he looked, I didn't think he'd be long for the shelter! Yay!
