Yes, we are on Misawa Air Base. 232 miles north of the nuclear reactor. Voluntary evacuation for family members only is going on, but my husband and I will stay put. As of now we are safe here. Still having strong after shocks.

so happy to hear u r fine in Misawa. my husband and I were there when he was in the Navy in 1978 for 4 years loved it there. would come back and live there if I could.. learned to do the pattern pictures there and the punch art oo I loved going to the classes, everyone that comes in my home wants to know where I got them when I tell them I made them they say yet right... but i did .. glad u r ok.
