We will always remember...
Hello all, just an humble request that you please remember the families and friends of the 168 victims of the Oklahoma City Bombing, April 19, 1995. To those of us who live in Oklahoma, it does not seem as if 17 years has passed. We still remember vividly where we were that day and what we were doing the moment we heard about it. I live 90 miles away, and I was touched deeply having lost several friends and acquaintances... there are many friends who also lost someone close...
If you are ever in OKC, please spend a couple of hours at the memorial. It will touch your life in a forever way, just like the bombing did for so many.
Thank you for remembering with me....

Thank you for this reminder. My son worked a couple of blocks away and was part of the recovery effort. It left a lasting impact on him for sure. Such a needless act of destruction. All effected are in my thoughts and prayers.

My husband and I stopped to see the memorial a couple of years, we both found it very touching.

Went to the memorial a few years ago. Very sobering. All the empty chairs, and the small chairs for the children, the display of items found afterwards, like a watch or a childs shoe. You could feel the pain and the giant loss, may we never have to go through something like this again. Shed tears for all we lost that day.

I'm far away from it but remember the day well. I was a stay at home Mom at that time, and two kids we have were still very small. Remember having them in high chair and booster chair at the table with the t.v. on and my heart was just breaking with sorrow. Hope to never witness that type of event again.
