We have had thunder and lightening storms since last week here in Vanuatu, and they say they will continue until the week-end. Our house here was struck by lightening last week, blowing out the electrics (I mean, fried the electrics!), broke a water pipe, fried the phones, caught a palm tree on fire just outside out living room, and we are only just getting the power sorted out! I was sitting in the living room when it hit, working on my GFG quilt and I jumped, screamed, and quilt pieces went flying!! Scarry stuff!! Then yesterday, DH and I were just pulling into a shop parking lot when a bolt hit right behind the store, but this time, it was pouring rain, unlike when it hit our house. I'm ready to come home!!

Here in Southern England it is dry, warm and sunny, but we desperately need rain.
