Good morning all my weight loss friends. It is georgious with the sunshinning bright gleaming off the snow. Everyone is home today but they are all still asleep so I have been enjoying the quiet time listening to the humming of my sewing machine. I love that sound!! I have the feeling that the kids will be home all week as we are expecting another round of snow tomorrow. It's only suppose to be an inch but that's what yesterdays was suppose to be. Funny how the snow looks like it has glitter in it when the sun shines on it. I plan on getting lots of sewing done today because DH is home so Eli will focus on him instead of me. I hope you all have a marvelous day!!

Has anyone heard of bee pollen pills to help with weight loss? There was a segment on the news yesterday. I would be afraid to try it I think. Plus I always take the news with a handful of salt!

What's for dinner..............
Pizza
1 pita bread
1/2 tomato sauce
2 mozzarella string cheese sticks chopped
1/4 c ricotta cheese
2 tbsp grated romano cheese
1 c frozen broccoli defrosted
1 tomato sliced thin
1/2 tsp dried basil or a few fresh basil leaves
Heat oven to 450
slice pita in 1/2 so you have 2 circles. put on cookie sheet. spread 1/2 of the ricotta cheese on each circle. top with tomato sauce add 1/2 of the broccoli on top of each then mozzarella cheese, next romano top with sliced tomatoes so it looks pretty. sprinkle with basil. Bake about 15 minutes until melted and bubbling.
Makes 2 at about 240 calories each. I wrote about because each company cheese has a little different calorie count and so does the pita bread.
serve with a garden salad and YYYYYYUUUUMMOOOOO!!!!!!!
1 is a nice lunch 2 is a great dinner.
Dessert.........
Peach Brown Betty
1 slice bread
1 c canned peaches diced
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp water
1 tsp powdered sugar
heat oven to 350...........I pop them in the toaster oven. Spray 2 custard cups with cooking spray. Mix sugar with cinnamon. Toast bread, lightly spray toast with cooking spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Cut cinnamon toast into cubes. In a bowl toss cubed peaches, bread and water. Put 1/2 in each cup bake 1/2 hour. remove from oven sprinkle with powdered sugar. serve warm
2 servings at 100 calories each
you can use any fruit you want but I am mking peach tonight

Sounds great Tru! I make myself eat broccoli, but not my favorite. However I love spinach- buy organic in the plastic tub every shopping day. I roll up several leaves and slice in slivers and put on the Digornos pizza along with tiny red sweet pepper rings that is Friday night staple in our house. This will be a much better choice-thanks!

Someone posted a recipe for roasted brussel sprouts.
I roasted some and they were delicious, BUT,
I don't think I did it correctly. They never got crunchy, and I wanted to try "crunchy".
Can you post it again, or tell me what page to find it?
Thanks,
MJ
