I don't paint (only walls). My husband paints, draws and does the odd metal garden sculpture out of bits and pieces. I am an art lover, and have an emerging interest in art quilts, my mother and my sister also draw/paint. Alas, the average toddler could paint better than me.

Your bird looks better since you changed it. Great detail on your bird! I like that his colors contrast against the earth tones of the rest of the painting. It makes him the focus. Very well done! Sharon

Agree. In my head, the nesting material coming out of his beak made sense, but in practice, it made him look like he had a really odd beak. So gone!

If you're like me, you have all kinds of brushes, paints, and surfaces waiting to be painted. Sometimes that drives me back to paint as much as anything.
