Default Welcome sign

Trying to get back into painting as well as keeping my quilting projects up. I just finished this one (need to varnish and add chain). But thought I would post here in case someone wanted to take a look. No pattern, just using various reference materials for subject matter, winging it.

That's very pretty - I love the nest with the egg!

Thanks to all of you who checked out my sign. I did change the bird somewhat to remove the piece of nesting material I had coming out of its beak. It looked odd to me when I saw the picture. May repost the pic later to show its final rendition.

I wish I could paint that well! My painting is limited to walls, and I am a two coat painter, one on the wall and one on me!

It looks so sweet. Reminds me I need to get back to my painting also. Seems like I go in stages.
