You know very well what "B" word I was thinking of, Bearisgrey nailed it, LOL!
But, I swear, I think your DH's "B" word is even worse!
My ex-DH used to call the beautiful stuff I brought into the house "cloth", never fabric. Sounded like nails on a blackboard to me. :?
Been 12 years and I still suffer PTSD over that.
Glad yours redeemed himself, sounds like a lovely anniversary.

I'm glad you had a great anniversary anyway. :) My DH knows better. His brother called it a blanket and my DH stepped in, took the one that I had made for my BIL out of his hands, handed him $20 and said, go buy a blanket - what Jenn made you is a QUILT. :) I was so proud of him.

My dad asked me to put a sleeve on the blanket I made my mom last year, so he could hang it on the wall in the living room. I didn't correct him as he knew how much time I had put into it before I gave it to my mom. She passed away two months after I gave it to her, so I'm happy the quilt is hanging on his living room wall. He even took it to Florida with him to show everyone down there, before it went up on the wall.

I find this amusing because I have just the opposite situation. My husband takes me to any fabric store and waits patiently while I make my decision.
His grandmother made all the quilts he and his brothers used growing up, so my husband has a great love and respect for quilts and quilters. I am a lucky woman!
